Solutions Architect

James Tower is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to serve as the technical lead through all phases of a solution implementation. The Solutions Architect will provide oversight to multiple software development projects and will be the primary decision maker in selecting the appropriate technical architecture to be used by the projects.

The successful candidate must have 5-7 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of application development solutions and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.  Experience with a variety of software technical architectures, and a deep understanding of Microsoft development tools and languages is required.  Candidates must also have knowledge of web services and various protocols used through a web based architecture system, and a solid understanding of object oriented design and development. This person will not just look at a problem and assume there is one solution, but be able to look at every and all solutions possible and help the client come up with the best possible solution in terms of meeting their needs, pricing, etc. Candidates must have great systems architecture and customer skills, and a driving attitude of success.  Demonstrated ability to set and communicate technology vision and strategy, ability to effectively communicate with vendors, customers, colleagues, and management and to understand the needs of non-technical internal and external clients required.
